A liver is a very important organ of our body and it is of a football-size that rests under your rib cage on the right side of your stomach. The liver is very useful for digesting food and removing toxins from your body.

Liver disease can be inherited from genetic inheritance or can be caused by a number of factors that cause liver damage, such as due to a virus infection or due to excessive use of alcohol.

Obesity may also be a reason for any damage caused to liver. Over time, liver damage can cause liver failure, which can be a major cause to may problems. Liver disease is considered to be one of the 10 most dangerous diseases in the world.

Its is estimated that every year around 2 lakh people lose their lives due to liver problems.

Here are some of the reasons for liver damage:-

Eating contaminated meat

Drinking dirty water

Eating plenty of spicy & chili food for a long time

Excess of chlorine content in drinking water

Lack of vitamin B in the body also causes liver problems

Suffering from malaria, dengue or typhoid

Excessive use of colored sweets and drinks

Excess intake of tea, coffee, junk food
